Opening in December 2026, Blackburn House is the newest event space at The Albion, bringing a design-forward setting unlike anything else in the By Landmark collection. With mid-century architecture, dramatic angled rooflines, natural wood finishes, and an open kitchen built into every event, the space was designed to create an experience that feels both striking and welcoming from the moment guests arrive.
Located in the heart of downtown Summit, Blackburn House offers something no other New Jersey venue in the portfolio currently can: a standalone event experience connected directly to a boutique hotel. Guests can move seamlessly from celebration to overnight accommodations, creating a level of convenience that is difficult to find in the area.
Designed for up to 150 guests, Blackburn House centers every celebration around what guests naturally gravitate toward: great food, great conversation, and a space that feels alive from every angle. The open kitchen serves as a focal point of the space, bringing energy and interaction into every event while showcasing the culinary experience as part of the celebration itself.
Although the venue is still under construction, couples don’t have to wait to experience it. Hard-hat tours are happening now, offering an early look at the vision, layout, and design details taking shape behind the scenes.
Couples who reserve their date before the venue opens will also have access to specialty construction pricing, available only through December 2026.
