On July 23rd, 7:00 PM rolled around, and the rooftop at The Stork Club was transformed into an epicenter of luxury, fine dining, and world-class cigars. Co-hosted with Havan on the Hudson, the highly anticipated Davidoff Cigar Dinner, with 55 guests filling every single seat, the evening was a completely sold-out triumph.
Set high above the Hudson River, the centerpiece of the evening was one, impeccably styled long table anchored right along the edge of the terrace. Guests dined against a breathtaking backdrop: uninterrupted views of downtown Manhattan and the sunset reflections across the water.
A World-Class Cigar & Tequila Masterclass
What set this evening apart was the exceptional lineup of presenters guiding the tasting experience.
Soheila, National Davidoff Ambassador, presented a curated selection of four signature cigars, taking guests on a sensory journey through Davidoffs most iconic portfolios:
- Davidoff Nicaragua: Bold, rich, and balanced with notes of spice and dark cocoa.
- Davidoff Dominicana: A creamy, highly nuanced expression of rare Dominican tobaccos.
- Davidoff Yamasa Deep, earthy, and complex with a savory black pepper finish.
- Davidoff Escurio: Inspired by Brazilian tobacco, featuring a lively interplay of spice and subtle sweetness.
To complement these masterly crafted smokes, Neia Bock, Brand Ambassador for Aldez Tequila, led an immersive pairing through three of Aldaz’s most iconic expressions. The synergy between the rich, oily wrappers and the crisp, cooked-agave complexity of the tequilas created pairings that kept conversation humming well into the night.

The culinary execution matching the spirits and cigars was nothing short of extraordinary. Served family-style, the three-course feast ranged from seasonal seafood delicacies to rich, hearty proteins:
- Antipasti: Whipped Ricotta & Honey Bruschetta topped with fennel pollen, Tuna Tartare on crispy rice with fresh strawberry and jalapeno, Italian Chopped Salad, and signature warm Felina Focaccia.
- Secondi: Handcrafted Garganelli alla Vodka accented with guanciale and peas, fresh Cod Livornese with Calabrian chili, and tender Beef Tenderloin in a rich Barolo reduction with green peppercorn cream.
Exclusive Finds & Lasting Connections
Beyond the dinner table,Havana on the Hudson set up an exclusive, pop-up luxury cigar lounge and shop. Attendees had the rare opportunity to browse and purchase hard-to-find, limited-production Davidoff cigars and rare humidor releases to take home for their personal collections.
