Our History
Spotlight on Logan Inn
Logan Inn is located in the heart of New Hope, PA. As one of the oldest continuously operating Inns in America, it dates back to being built in 1722 and becoming an inn in 1727. We purchased this 11,000 sq. ft. property and received the approvals to renovate the existing structure, which included removing the non-historic porches to improve sight-lines, and added a 33,000 sq. ft. addition, which includes 22 rooms (now totaling 38), an event space, a 400 seat restaurant, whiskey lounge, cigar lounge, movie theatre, and a two story lobby. This property continues to act as the hub for the community and has opened the doors for two other projects we are embarking on in New Hope.
Spotlight on Elkins Estate
Elkins Estate is located in Elkins Park, PA, which is a short drive from Philadelphia. For the past 93 years, this establishment has been a retreat for the Dominican Sisters. The property consists of 45 acres, where nine historic buildings call home, totaling 165,000 sq. ft. Original ownership of the estate belonged to the Elkins Family, who had a celebrated past of not only helping Philadelphia grow, but Elkins Park as well.
The family hired the architect, Horace Trumbauer, to design and build several of the prominent structures on site. The main mansion, Elstowe Manor, is one of the best representations of the Gilded Age, which can be found in many design books and blogs.
One of the other significant structures is the Tudor Mansion, called Chelten House. By Landmark was successful in obtaining all of the entitlements for a full-service resort, including the ability to operate the property complete with a fine dining restaurant, spa, helipad, kitchen, gardens, conference center, recording studio, artist in residence buildings & more. We now own the property and construction has commenced on two of the main buildings.

Spotlight on South Orange Village Hall
Landmark Developers was invited to bid on the purchase and adaptive reuse of the South Orange, NJ City Hall, which will now be known as South Orange Village Hall. Mayor Sheena Collum of South Orange has a background in planning, and knew that giving this building a vibrant life, such as a restaurant, would help spur development in a dormant corridor of downtown.
Landmark was selected because of its reputation for restoring historic structures, repurposing them into key hospitality sites, which will bring a new sense of aliveness to town, launching other developments. This property was purchased by Landmark Developers and is in the final stages of redevelopment with the exterior complete and interior finishes being installed.
The venue consists of a full-service restaurant, Felina Steak, an indoor/outdoor lounge, La Terrazza, and two dramatic event spaces on the 2nd floor. Aside from getting this municipal property back on the tax rolls, it has proven to be a gateway for the redevelopment surrounding Village Hall and hundreds of residential units.
