Modern, Design Forward, & Boldly Luxurious in Jersey City, NJ

Hudson House sits at the water’s edge in Port Liberté, with the Manhattan skyline serving as the backdrop to every part of the celebration. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city from all five levels of the venue, while cathedral ceilings, waterfront terraces, and a rooftop after-party space create opportunities to experience it from every angle. Couples exchange vows overlooking the Hudson River, celebrate beneath grand chandeliers, and end the night at The Stork Club rooftop, where the skyline remains front and center. Hudson House welcomes wedding celebrations for up to 400 guests.

Grand Ballroom

400 GUESTS CAPACITY · Indoor/Outdoor Ceremony

The Grand Ballroom is Hudson House’s largest event space, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hudson River and Manhattan skyline. Cathedral ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and a mezzanine level give the room a grand sense of scale, while walls of glass keep the skyline in view throughout the celebration. Guests can step outside to the waterfront terrace during cocktail hour, then return inside for dinner and dancing as the skyline lights up across the river. The Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 400 guests for ceremonies and receptions.

The Hudson Room

225 GUESTS CAPACITY · Indoor/Outdoor Ceremony

With clean lines, panoramic views, and a private terrace that puts the skyline directly behind your vows, The Hudson Room accommodates up to 225 guests in a setting that feels personal without sacrificing presence. The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, along with high windows, allows you and your guests to enjoy the skyline for every part of the celebration.
Bride and Groom at Stork Club Rooftop Hudson House

The Stork Club Rooftop

Rooftop After Party · Open Air · Exclusively Hudson House

The Stork Club Rooftop gives couples something few wedding venues can offer: an open-air rooftop celebration overlooking the Manhattan skyline. After dinner and dancing, guests head upstairs for a completely different atmosphere, with city lights, river views, and the energy of New York just across the water. It’s a natural continuation of the evening rather than a separate event, allowing guests to enjoy the skyline from one final vantage point before the night comes to a close. Hudson House is one of the only wedding venues near New York City to offer a rooftop after-party experience like this.

The Grounds

Waterfront · Outdoor Ceremony · PORTRAITS

The waterfront grounds at Hudson House place the Manhattan skyline directly across the river, creating an iconic backdrop for your vows or portraits. Couples use the outdoor spaces for ceremonies and photos throughout the day, while guests gather on the terraces between events. Whether viewed in daylight, at sunset, or after the city lights come on, the waterfront remains part of the celebration from beginning to end.

Winter Weddings at Hudson House

In winter, guests watch the city lights sparkle across the Hudson through walls of glass while candlelit tables fill the ballroom. Weddings held January through March include seasonal additions such as mulled wine and warm cider upon arrival, a personalized ice sculpture during cocktail hour, your choice of a polenta station or homemade tomato soup and artisanal grilled cheese, and either espresso served from silver samovars with cordials and biscotti or a hot chocolate station with warm sugar donuts to end the evening. Oversized sparklers are also included for the sendoff. For couples with flexible dates, winter offers the opportunity to experience Hudson House during one of its most dramatic seasons, with the skyline taking center stage.

Getting Ready at Hudson House

The Hudson House Wedding Suite is reserved exclusively for the wedding party on the day of the celebration. Natural light, comfortable seating, and plenty of room for hair and makeup make it an easy place to spend the morning with your closest friends and family. A fruit and cheese platter is prepared before everyone arrives, giving the wedding party time to settle in, get ready, and enjoy the excitement of the day before guests begin to arrive.

Wedding Spotlight

Vows before the Manhattan Skyline
Jessica and Jeff exchanged vows with the Manhattan skyline as their backdrop before celebrating inside Hudson House as the city lights came on across the river. Guests spent the evening moving between the ballroom, waterfront terraces, and eventually The Stork Club Rooftop, taking in a different view of the skyline from each of the venue’s five floors.

Everything I could have ever dreamed of and more.
From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, thoughtful, and beyond anything I imagined. They didn’t just host a wedding, they created an experience that my husband, our families, and our guests will never forget.
Courtney D.
We truly felt cared for from start to finish.
As a bride without a planner or bridal party, I had plenty of questions, and Elena was an absolute dream — warm, communicative, and supportive every step of the way. From the tasting to the breathtaking city views and AMAZING food our guests still rave about, everything exceeded expectations. The day-of coordination was seamless, and my bridal attendant, Ana, kept my veil picture-perfect all day.

The venue is an absolute stunner!
from the views of NYC, to the chic interior and gorgeous chandeliers that mimic the skyline. I cannot recommend this venue more if I tried!!!! Elena made the day phenomenal. Her attention to detail and focus on the couples vision allows you to truly live in the moment. Planning was an absolutely breeze with her on our side!
Tori N.
The venue, the food, the views - iconic.
Not a detail was missed from the staff to ensure the experience was incredible for every guest. From the cocktail hour food (and ensuring the bride/groom had a sampling of everything!) to the dinner and desserts - our guests were blown away. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of.
Jessica S.
I want to relive our day over and over again!
We were immediately wow-ed by Hudson House's exceptional facility - the floor to ceiling windows, the black + white ambience throughout, the clean cut, modern feeling - everything we wanted and more. The view itself is priceless - the NYC skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and literally being RIGHT on the water.

If you get the chance to have your wedding at Hudson House, consider yourself lucky.
It is by far the best NYC/Tri-State area venue to host your 200+ person wedding. From our first visit through our wedding day 14 months later, Gabriel and the Hudson House team continued to blow us away.
Ellie T. & Sami K.
My wife and I are so glad we chose Hudson House!
The views are incredible, whether you hold the ceremony inside (thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows) or out on the lawn. And the food is plentiful. Our guests were amazed by the food during cocktail hour. Last but certainly not least, the service level is top notch.

About Hudson House

Five Floors. One Extraordinary Story.

Hudson House occupies one of the most distinctive waterfront locations in Port Liberté, with uninterrupted views of the Manhattan skyline across the Hudson River. Originally built in the 1970s, the property sat vacant for years after Hurricane Sandy before by Landmark founders Jeanne and Frank Cretella reimagined it as the five-story venue it is today. Their goal was to create a modern setting that would let the skyline take center stage, with each floor offering a different perspective of the city beyond the glass.

Since opening in 2019, Hudson House has welcomed couples and guests from across the country and around the world. Even Sir Paul McCartney, who attended a celebration here, remarked, “I’ve been to many wonderful places, but this is one of the best views I’ve ever seen.” For many guests, it’s hard to argue otherwise.
